At Home Store Costa Mesa Now Open

The home furnishings chain At Home has opened its location in Costa Mesa at Harbor and, Wilson. The new store is in what was the last K Mart store in Orange County until its closure earlier this year. I decided to check out the new store last weekend and, I must admit that I was impressed with the selection of items.

The floors are not fancy just concrete, like you might see at a warehouse store such as Costco or Home Depot and the lighting is very effective but as you can see from the picture below the less overall fixtures adds to the warehouse feel.

As you can see from the picture above the store has a huge selection of Christmas ornaments, decorations, artificial trees and, even inflatable yard decorations.

The storage and organization section is pretty expansive in case you have a New Years resolution to get yourself organized after the holidays.

In the above people you can see lamps as well as shade, also decorative plants off to the left which you cannot see is a big selection of pictures to hang on your wall.

Above is some rugs and pads apart from the indoor rugs the store has a good selection of outdoor rugs which can be hard to find at this time of year generally. Stores generally only have outdoor rugs in stock during the Spring and, Summer months so seeing them is a plus if you need one.

I was surprised how big the furniture section is with numerous chairs, stools and sofas.

At this time of the year with people visiting extra chairs are often needed, so if you need some outdoor ones they have numerous in stock.

When I checked out the companies website before the store opened I wasn’t sure out the quality of items but seeing them in person they seem good value for the money. Of course until you own the products themselves its tough to tell how durable they are but what I have seen they look like a good deal.
