Fairview Park in Costa Mesa is a huge public open space with a large green open space as well as a large area of the park that has native California plants in rustic areas. One day I was visiting the park as a huge storm closed in on the park. Because of the bluff top location with views in the distance of Huntington Beach you can stand there and, see the storm close in around you.
