August 31st 2022: Finally some good news as gasoline prices continue to drop across Orange County with the average price across the county of $5.18 a gallon. The price per gallon has steadily dropped since hitting a record of $6.41 a gallon back in June.
The price per gallon across the county is 37.8 cents less than a month ago but still 81.3 cents higher than a year ago at the same time. Hopefully falling gasoline prices will help with inflation as higher prices make the cost to ship all kinds of goods higher.
