May 17th 2023: Fairview Park is huge park that many people love but that does have its detractors, It spans approximately 208 acres and offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors.
The park offers amenities such as wide open spaces to play or picnic but is mostly known for its natural untouched areas. People that preferred a park covered with sports fields may find Fairview Park a little different and not for them but that’s okay many people do love this park.
Fairview Park features a diverse natural landscape with rolling hills, grassy meadows, wetlands, and walking trails. It is known for its scenic beauty and provides a peaceful environment for outdoor activities.
One of the notable features of Fairview Park is the Talbert Nature Preserve, which is located within the park. The nature preserve consists of freshwater marshes and a coastal sage scrub ecosystem, providing a habitat for a variety of plant and animal species. Visitors can explore the preserve through designated trails and observe the natural beauty of the area.

The model aircraft area has been closed the last few years with no agreement on how to reopen the area yet forthcoming.
