December 16th 2024: The City of Costa Mesa has just added eight new pickleball courts at the Costa Mesa Tennis Center. The new courts were opened by Mayor John Stephen’s as well as Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Harlan as well as three council members. The addition of the eight new pickleball courts brings the total of thirteen courts in Costa Mesa.
The additional new pickleball courts wasn’t the only change at the Tennis Center with the lighting being upgraded with energy efficient LED lighting that will help on visibility. The courts also have been renovated and leveled to improve ball speed and playability.
