January 13th 2025: This weekend is again free miniature railroad train rides in Fairview Park. The free miniature train rides happen the third weekend of every month weather permitting. The rides are operated over its nearly five mile long track by members of the Orange County Model Engineers a non profit 501(c) tax deductible organization.
Miniature Train Rides Schedule:
Train rides leave from the Goathill Junction Station every few minutes on this Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 3:30 pm. The trains each have 5-7 cars and the trip around the track takes 12 to 15 minutes.
The monthly events can be very popular so at times lines can get long so you might have a wait but it is a free ride. As the railroad is run by a non profit all donations help support the group and its operations.
Rider Requirements:
All riders must be at 31 inches talland be able to walk to board and ride the trains safely. Also no babies are allowed in baby carriers on the trains.
